February’s Vegan Cuts Beauty Box included:
ColorpHlex Home Care Nv Leave-in Treatment, $4 – This is a leave-in treatment and detangler with veggie-derived color strengthening technology – fahhncy! I am extremely excited to try this out because my hair is hella fried and frazzled, tangle-y, and thirsty af. Mama neeeeeds (love that it’s color-safe, too!).
Crazy Rumors Chocolate Strawberry Lip Balm,* $4 – Aw, Crazy Rumors and I go way-way back (they were one of the first brands I reviewed on VBR). Their lip balms never disappoint, and their dessert-y flavors are right up my alley. This flavor truly does smell like chocolate dipped strawberries, and the formula is ace – smooth but not too slimy and not gritty at all. Yum!
Herbal Transdermal Deep Pore Mineral Toner,* $3 – Whoa, this all-natural toner has 90 trace elements in it (!!!) as well as tea tree oil and vitamin C ester. It’s light, fresh and pH balanced and I dig its subtle yet cheery scent. I kind of wish it came in a spray bottle though, because I’m lazy like that, but overall, I’m really excited about this toner.
Oral Essentials Toothpaste, $4 – I’ve previously reviewed this oral care line on VBR, and I’ve actually been using their products off and on for awhile now. This toothpaste is all-natural, SLS & fluoride-free, and tasty, but if you’re in the market for a sudsy toothpaste, this might not be your jam – there are natural SLS and fluoride-free toothpastes on the market that still sud, which I’m somewhat partial to.
The Ariel Co. “Cupid” Lip Scrub, $9 – I’m beyond smitten with the scent of this lip scrub! It smells like cotton candy bubble gum, and it totally takes me back to my childhood. NOSTALGIA. ♥ Since I use matte liquid lippies almost daily, and they tend to be a B to remove, I heavily reply on lip scrubs to fully remove my lipstick. I’ll be using the heck out of this, that’s for sure.
Emani Eye Trio in “Tango”,* $20 – How pretty are these eye colors? I think they complement each other really well, and the pigmentation is quite nice. I’m also really diggin’ the mirror that comes with! If you’re into green beauty (which I am big-time ), you’ll appreciate the squeaky clean ingredients, too.
*faves from this month’s box
Overall impression: The value of everything in this box is $44, which is pretty awesome! It’s a lovely mix of skin care, makeup, and hair care. Box faves: Emani’s all-natural eyeshadow trio, Herbal Transdermal mineral-infused toner, and Crazy Rumors’ yummy chocolate strawberry lip balm! Overall, February’s VCBB box is a hit!
